In 2025 we lost our dear friend, neighbor, the creator of FlushFest
and beloved piano whisperer, Peter Estep.
In his memory, we are placing a bench on the FlushFest festival
grounds at Eno River Brewing, along the Hillsborough riverwalk.

On September 26 and 27, you can climb a tree at Piedmont Tree Climbing in support of FlushFest.

After your climb (or for those who don't want to scale the heights), come enjoy the 240-foot zipline, 4 giant tree swings, tetherball, nature trails crisscrossing 8 acres of hardwood forest, a seesaw built to hold 4 adults, horseshoe toss, yard games, two trampolines, a nature playscape, and friendly chickens to feed.

FlushFest is a homemade music and film festival in West Hillsborough, NC, started in 2017 by neighbors to raise funds for Grace Beeler's documentary about an innovative sewer system in Brazil.
These days, Flushfest has grown into an annual tradition and one of the largest music festivals in Hillsborough.
It provides vital support to the Appropriate Sanitation Institute, which promotes "condominial sewerage" technology and works to share that knowledge globally.
FlushFest admission is by donation and features music, silent film, dance, and community.
